Policy Content
In accordance with the OSHA Occupational Exposure to Hazardous Chemicals in
Laboratories standard (29 CFR 1910.1450), which defines criteria that personnel will use
to determine and implement control measures to reduce employee and student
exposure to hazardous chemicals including engineering controls, administrative
controls (i.e. hygiene practices), and personal protective equipment. Please see
Chemical Hygiene Plan in the Attachments Section of this Policy.
