A classified employee of the University who may be expressing personal support for a candidate or partisan issue should do nothing to suggest or imply that he/she speaks as a representative of Trinity University.
Trinity University recognizes that its employees may choose to participate in and to assume the responsibilities of citizenship in government affairs. This includes seeking public office in local, county, state and federal governments. Such political activity must not, however, interfere with the performance of the employee’s work obligation to Trinity University.
